Perissa is located in the southeast part of Santorini, 13 km away from Fira, the island's capital. The town is mostly known for its beach of the same name, which features black sand and is located at the foot of Mesa Vouno mountains. The Church of Timios Stavros, one of the biggest churches of the island can be found at the town's square.
