Kamari - Santorini

Kamari is located on the south side of the island and is one of the best seaside resorts. There is a beach, 5km long, where the sand is dark, a characteristic that derives from the existence of the volcano of Santorini. In the southern part of the beach stands the Inside Mountain. This is the location where the Ancient Thira was situated in the past, while the altitude is nearly 400 meters.
