Fira - Santorini

Fira is the capital of Santorini. It is located on the west side of the island and it is built on top of cliffs at an altitude of approximately 250 meters from the sea. Fira was founded in the end of the 18th century, when the residents of Santorini were forced to leave the old capital of the island.
